What is the application/registration process?
Students are invited to participate in our audition-style application process
-
Auditions will be held at WOW headquarters (1225 Laurel St., Columbia, SC 29201) on Saturday, May 9, 2026 or Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10am to 12pm
-
Students will perform a short audition in acting, dance, poetry, or a combination
-
Evaluation focuses on creativity, commitment, and potential—not just experience
-
This is to give students a real-life opportunity to experience the process of auditioning and allow staff to get to know the student before the program starts.

This summer program will be held at:

Lenoir-Rhyne University (formerly Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary),
4201 N. Main Street, Columbia, SC -
The Final Showcase will be held at: Lenoir-Rhyne University, Reinartz Hall on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 6:30 pm.
What are the summer program dates and hours?

June 15 - July 24, 2026
June 19th and July 6 - July 10, 2026 - No sessions -
Production Prep Week (mandatory): July 20 – 24, 2026

Camp runs Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
-
Drop off: Doors open at 9:00 AM. Campers must be picked up by 3pm.
*Additional fees will incur if kids are dropped off early or picked up late.
What is the cost of this summer program?

$100 per week for 5-week session
-
$50 discount for full payment at time of registration
-
Optional Payment Plan: $50 non-refundable deposit due at audition to hold your child’s spot
-
Weekly payments of $100 must be paid by Fridays at 5pm on the following dates: June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 10th, and July 17th.

For full payment, remaining balance must be paid by June 1st, or the spot will be released to a waitlisted family
Will food be provided?

Lunch is provided daily at no additional cost
-
Campers may bring their own lunch if preferred or if they have dietary constraints.

No outside food orders or deliveries allowed unless approved by the Program Director for safety and security
What about safety and supervision?
-
We are partnering with City of Columbia Police and Richland County Sheriff’s Department
-
Armed university security, counselors, and interns will be on-site at all times
-
All staff and volunteers working with campers are thoroughly background-checked
What activities will campers participate in?

Acting

Poetry/Spoken Word or Rap

STEM activities

Music Video Creation

Daily journaling, motivational talks, and social awareness discussions
Will there be any field trips?
That is the goal. We are currently securing those trips. So Yes! In addition to creative workshops, campers will enjoy fun enrichment days that may include skating, swimming, games, and more. These “Fun Days” are designed to build friendships and unwind together. Some trips may include a small fee (you’ll be notified in advance).
What is the Final Showcase?
The camp will end with a BIG production at Lenoir-Rhyne University, Reinartz Hall on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 6:30 PM where campers will perform original work and debut their collaborative music video. This is a ticketed public event open to families, friends, and community members. Media may be present.
What should my child bring each day?

Comfortable, modest clothing
